If I need a morning at home so that Charlotte can nap, and Henry and Greta are following me from room to room, making me crazy, I can take one of them out of the mix by setting Henry's clothes on his bean bag and asking him to get dressed. If I have somewhere to be, the half hour it takes him, and the umpteen million reminders I have to give, make me INSANE. Why in the world does it take him 30 minutes to get dressed when his clothes are laid out for him, you might ask? Well, the bean bag is situated right next to the bookshelf and Henry can NOT resist anything with a binding so the act of getting dressed is also really quiet reading time. And today, as it turned out, he actually got dressed too!
